Ram Manohar Lohia, who
was a freedom fighter, socialist and a great Parliamentarian, is the guiding
light for the Samajwadi Party. His integrity, his selfless struggle for India's
independence and his ability to unite people of all sections of society has
greatly influenced our leaders, youth and workers in the party.
Mahatma Gandhi's ideas
greatly influenced Lohia, who worked tirelessly during the freedom movement,
writing articles against the British and raising awareness against British
imperialism in Europe. Lohia was jailed by the British several times during the
freedom struggle, and he fought rigorously all his life for social equality.
After India became
independent, Ram Manohar Lohia devoted himself to grassroots politics which
included farmers cause, development work and fighting against social injustice.
His ability to awaken the common people with his fiery articles on satyagraha,
and his innate knowledge of social problems made him the foremost socialist
leader of India.
Lohia's 'Do or Die'
spirit is an inspiration and a guiding force for the Samajwadi Party in its
struggle for social upliftment of the poor, backward and socially weaker
sections of society. (sourse www.samajwadiparty.in)
Pillars of the our party
SHRI MULAYAM SINGH YADAV
Our Netaji as he is
respectfully called by party workers – was born in Etawah on November 22, 1939.
Netaji, who was greatly influenced by Ram Manohar Lohia, joined the great
socialist leader's movement during the 1950s to fight for farmers rights.
Lohia's 'Do or Die'
spirit is an inspiration and a guiding force for the Samajwadi Party in its struggle
for social upliftment of the poor, backward and socially weaker sections of
society.
He first became an MLA
in the UP assembly in 1967 and was jailed during the Emergency in 1975. He
formed the Samajwadi Party in October, 1992, based on the socialist principles
of India's great leader Ram Manohar Lohia. Netaji was appointed India's Defense
Minister in 1996 due to his clear thinking on India's emerging role in
international politics and great leadership qualities.
A visionary, Netaji
held the post of Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh three times, and implemented
policies and took action to ensure that the poor and backward sections of
society lived in harmony with the rest, and people from all religions, castes
and social backgrounds contributed towards growth of the state.
Under Netaji's
leadership, the Samajwadi Party has become an umbrella for people belonging to
various sections of society in villages and towns. Netaji has strived to make
the Samajwadi Party a vehicle for the downtrodden and neglected section of
society.(sourse www.samajwadiparty.in)

Sir,
I, Mohd. Israr S/o Haji Noor Mohd. Village Asara, Tehasil Baruat Distt. Bagphat (UP) is a farmer of the above said village. Since 3 years, the way to my land has been encroached by a person who is also residing in the same village. This is the only road which leads to my land. The encroachment was done by the collusion of S.D.M. Still with the support of S.D.M of the Baruat, They sometimes also ruin my crops.
So I humbly request you to look after the matter and take necessary action as soon as possible. Further, I request you that this road should be made with concrete & Bricks. This letter has been forwarded on 07 June-2012 to ADM & SDM Baruat but no action has been taken yet. Moreover, Kango, Tehsildar and Patwari are also involved in this matter. They always delay and not interested to take action in the matter. So I request you to take action to do the needful work as soon as possible.
